If there is a true "diamond geezer" then this chap is him. His knowledge of VW's is excellent. If your stuck (virtually anywhere) Steve will be there either on the phone or drive to you. He has worked wonders on our '82 2.0L aircooled camper, refurbed the original Solex carbs, got the LPG working properly (NOT FITTED BY HIM)helped with the suspension, new panels etc. If it's not right it ain't fixed & he won't let that do, you van is there to enjoy & he makes certain that's what you will be able to do by the time he has finished. I could go on & on praising this man but i think you should find out for your self.
5 hearts is not enough for the service you will get.

Great Service from Steve at Gasure. He fitted my LPG conversion earlier this year and has been incredibly helpful and given good advice whenever Ive needed it. Great service and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Gasure to anyone.

I agree with all the above 100%. Steve is a top bloke who knows his stuff ,done my gas conversion for me plus service and other bits and his work is excellent will use again defo !

Gasure are an efficient and very relaiable company. Steve coverted my 79 to not only run on gas, but completely fit out my camper with head sand side storage, gas stove, 240v and 12v leisure, gas stove and propex heater.

Came to South Wales within a day of notice and retuned a new engine and gas alaignment. A very good and relaiable company, one to be fully trusted.

We had our LPG fuel and Leisure systems fitted in May 2005 by Steve. He came down to Shrewsbury and fitted, set up and teated the system in one day!!Excellent standard of workmanship..Also had a few imtermittant probs with LPG system in August on a trip to Scotland, rang Steve and he talked me through the probs to enable us to carry on our holiday..When we returned, Steve came down and sorted the problem, in a torrential downpour!!!Top bloke, knows his stuff about mech and tech on Aircoolers too which is a bonus..Gasure Highly Recommended!!! Totally brillient service.
LPG conversion 4 months ago, dropped off in the morning, picked up at tea time, worked perfectly ever since - I now have HALF my previous fuel costs with no difference in performance.

Since then I have been back for other little things and Steve is a REALLY helpful guy.

Shame all garages arn't like this.

Ain't it nice to ba able to thoroughly recomend a garage !!

What we need now is to clone a few more of him, so more folks can have decent service at a sensible price from a guy who really knows his subject.

Everyone who owns and uses a T3 for Holidays, weekends away,daytrips or just going about their day to day business should go and get their van converted to gas by Steve Shaw, THANKYOU Steve i have never driven my van so much, or enjoyed it so much, you are a Genius in Techy terms and a God in VW speak, People out there DO IT, I did and i'm having a ball at a 1/3rd of the cost of petrol,

Thanks to Steve @ Gasure we enjoy Diesel like economy from our T4's 2.5 silky smooth petrol motor. This guys after sales support is second to none. Let him convert you to 40p a litre today.

What recommendations you get on here! We bought an early Westy Wedge via ebay blind. And more than a little nervously as I know nothing of the art of aircooled internal combustion! We took Scoobert to Steve for a once over and he listed all the problems for us. Since then Scoob is a couple of inches lower, stops as soon as you touch the brake and has received dub resuscitation on his old lungs and even all the leisure equipment works. Not only does the 3 way fridge work since repair, but also the water and, miraculously, the Eberspracher. There is no way we could have managed it without Steve's help and trusting Scoob to anyone else seems unimaginable even though there's a dub resto specialist opened half a mile away. Cheers, here's to happy times!!!

Hi all,
There is only one person who I would trust to work on my van and that is Steve Shaw. He really is THE man, very helpful, totally professional and knows his stuff re VW vans.
Chester is a really nice place to hang out while he works his magic and only a short bus ride away from his excellent facilities.
However busy he is, Steve always takes the time to explain complex issues to an idiot ( me ) and resolves any queries you have.
I cannot praise this guy enough and only wish he lived nearer!

I have had a new engine in my van and wouldn't have taken it anywhere else. Steve is a great guy and gives you loads of advice how to look after your van. It is running better than ever and can't wait for the 500 mile service to put the LPG back on. See ya soon Steve
